A Snapshot of Time

Written words, a photo, both capture a moment that could only happen once

Never thought...

I never thought I would see someone I know on Jerry Springer.

Jerry Springer was on outside the conference room in the HRC. As the team hung out waiting for the room to be opened Jerry Springer was on and they were laughing at it as I walked up. The person they were laughing at? Yeah, I went to highschool with him.

What to do?

Only done for one day and my schedule is already messed up. I was up until 5 and got up at 11 and only took one hour long nap. My Sundays usually are bed at one, up at 11 and a 2-3 hour nap. And here you would think that I would be tired, nope, wide awake.

Got my poster for wall! It's beginning to shape up. I just need some more postcards (actually I really like pretty card fronts/pictures) for the little space stuff and it will finally be livable. Just need to keep growing my collection.

Back to the grindstone tomorrow. Maybe I can sleep now (highly unlikely)

Wearin' a Fastskin....

We (the swim team) leaves for Chicago and conference tomorrow. Get ready for some fast times. So far the best part is being the proud owner of a fastskin, miss Julies very own expensive racing suit, straight from the box, no hand me downs and as state of the art as you get.

Self Portrait

I've taken many self portraits, most as a joke or with my build in web cam, the others were never scanned. This is still my favorite. It actually has a title- For My Daddy.

Amazon

Amazon.com is addictive. There is so much stuff. I got a gift card for Christmas and I can't seem to spend it. I'm so frugal sometimes. (note- sometimes) I did find something I had been wanting for a lot cheaper that I thought it was going to be. But to I really need a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish? I mean I love Mac'n'cheese but do I need my own dish to make it in? I have been wanting to make it at school but the dish? Then there are all the books I could buy, and the shoes I'd been wanted too bad the colors in my size suck, or another pair of adidas pants. Or a new tote to carry books in even though mine is just fine. sigh. So many options, I just can't seem to pick.

believable one foot

I will believe one foot at the end of today. So for the second day in a row classes are cancelled! I am glad for the moment but coming back from confrence is going to be tough. I missed two classes I only have once a week due to snow and then I will miss them next week from confrence, and most of my classes will only meet twice before I leave. I just hope the profs aren't playing catch up to the point that I miss a ton. Wish me luck (and will me to want to study)

1 foot?

I don't think we got the one foot over night they were calling for. But!! We got enough for classes to be cancelled. In the words of Kyle "they have snow days in college?" Yeah, I guess they do.

If we can't criticize religion anymore, there will be no women's rights, no birth control and no gay rights.

I wish they would attack us with a nuclear bomb and kill us all so we will rest and anybody who wants the oil — which is the core of the problem — can come and get it.

Game Time.

"I used to love to drift along the pale-yellow cornfields, looking for the damp spots one sometimes found at their edges, where the smartweed soon turned a rich coppor colour and the narrow brown leaves hung curled like cocoons about the swollen joints of the stem."

Hint- It's a book

Now find it, sorry there is no prize this is just fun.

I'm gonna keep my sheep suit on
Until I'm sure that you've been shown
That I can be trusted walking with you alone.
