When things are scary. Giggle
Friday nights come and go but last week, oh last Friday. I was still sick and probably should have staid home but I'd paid for my ticket gall darn it! We were off to see Here Come the Mummies (yes, again. Ticket's are cheap and they're always a good time). One of my friends, all 90lb's of her, was joining us from Indy.
Now, if you live in the US you know that Spring hit the Midwest... Spring in February. I even busted out my Chaco's-legging-skirt combo. All this meant was that it was warm outside and ridiculously hot in all the buildings. The Bird was no different.
We weren't drinking (drinks are expensive on show nights!) but that didn't mean we weren't feeling the heat. We were all down to the tank tops we'd put on under our sweaters and jackets. Then... well it go real hot. So hot my poor 90lb friend went down. Scary right? I've got my friend in my arms (barely, 90lb limp girls are still crazy heavy) in the middle of a crowd. So thanks to the random guy who carried my friend half way out the bar and thanks to the bouncer who sniffed the water Diane brought us outside. She was fine and was quickly shivering in the night air.
Needless to say we headed home, drank more water, and had some ice cream. Then we were off to bed, well again.
