They did not receive the money you Nit Wit

Thanksgiving has come and gone. It twas a success! We had deep fried turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, glazed carrots, salad, rolls, dressing (which I made with no measuring cups!), and (credit to the mom) SQUASH! We did good, and had a good time. The dogs (all four of them) got FILTHY in the back yard and were stressed out but they survived.

The semester is winding down. Two more weeks of classes, a week of finals, and then it's Christmas time! Good thing, because the tree was put up and decorated on Friday (aka the day after Thanksgiving).

Jax

Here he is! Handsome Jax!
He's as sweet as can be, afraid of cats and linoleum, and already aware that I'm his person. He made an escape today (before mastering come or his name) and led me on a chase around the neighborhood until he was done playing. He literally made a circle and wanted to play. The one time he lost me, he found me as I was about to plop down crying on the street corning calling Krista to rant something about how the Hermit crabs should have been a lesson to me. No mom, his front legs are not longer than his back. He's just very thin and leggy. He runs like a grey-hound. That's all I've got for now.

J&K do amazing things

In the past two weeks Krista and I have officially become bad asses. Last week we used tools to take apart and put back together furniture, build furniture, and cut ourselves a room sized rug. This week we jumped my car without calling a daddy. We're bad asses and as we said last weekend- Potential boyfriends should take note, we use tools and move shit. We also fix our own mechanical problems.

Sick November

I think next November I'm just going to hole up in my room and not do anything. Not really, but I do think it's hilarious this is the second November in a row I've gotten sick. Thankfully I've stayed hydrated and there hasn't been an ambulance ride for me! I think Pepper the dog loves it. My fever yesterday meant I missed my classes (not because I felt bad but because I knew I shouldn't go into public with a fever). Julie missing her classes meant Miss-Pepper-The-Attention-Whore got to sleep on my bed for most of the day.

Truth be told

I'm not sure I've ever enjoyed fall this much. Last weekend (as posted) Krista and I carved pumpkins. This weekend we dressed up and handed out candy. (Julia joined but didn't dress up, I'm not sure I would have if I'd gotten up 5:30am).

Followed by Game Night at friend of Krista's place. The highlights of the night would include when I ate a homemade bone-mallow and proceeded to laugh causing said marshmallow to be lodged in my nose. We had high hopes for a long evening but crashed about 1am (the first time 1am happened last night) so we never did find out how late the bars were open. All in all we had fun though.
