Leaving Speyer

Another Sunday morning in Speyer has just begun. Typically Sunday is what I'll called planned laziness. That is, a casual mention for a walk or lunch or a single activity that needs to occur. While I still feel pretty lazy even though I have more things on my to-do list for today (book a hostel! ah! pack! Go for a walk. Good, that one I can handle). I don't have a lot of distractions as tomorrow is a holiday in Germany so many of the students went home (just like the mass exodus of a US campus on a 4-day weekend) and all but one of the American's has also left. Enough downer-Julie.

Classes finished up. I'll leave my full appraisal until after my papers are turned in. (If I care enough then to get back to it). Overall though I enjoyed the Speyer experience.

Tomorrow I will head to Amsterdam via train. I'm nervous about this next leg of the trip. However, if the Australians travel alone all the time, so can I. So let the next adventure begin.
