DC Adventure

One of four pictures taken of me on the day of my epic walk of the DC sites. This one is at the end (back at the capitol).



I started at the Capitol and headed down the National Mall and across into Virginia. Booked it to the Tomb of the Unknown and made it just in time for the last 30 seconds of the changing of the guard (heard the 21 gun salute, didn't see it). Walked back and up the other side of the mall before turning to head in and past the White House. Passed the Kennedy Center and the J Edgar Hoover building before doing the Natural History Museum (which sucked. it was awful. even their giant squid needed help. they don't deserve caps) in about an hour. Then I headed back to the capitol. Trip totaled at least 10.5 miles plus whatever I walked in the museum.
