It's beginning to look a lot like Spring

So apparently I've become a one a week kind of blogger.

I went camping this weekend. A girl I've gotten to know through Earth Charter, Kaitlin (1st secretary of Earth Charter Butler) asked if I wanted to go camping. Originally she was going to get other students to come but it ended up being Kaitlin, Krista and I. We headed down to Brown County State Park Saturday around 1pm and had a lot of fun.

On Saturday we climbed the fire tower. I swear I had flashbacks of my early childhood and was reminded that I don't like heights. Krista made a fair amount of fun at my expense which was understandable seeing as climbing the tower was my idea. I will give myself that while I don't really like heights I can more often than not overcome this aversion and accomplish what it is I set out to do (climb the fire tower, swing off the high ropes course, look over the edge of the Eiffel Tower, and hopefully someday Skydive). Then we ate dinner (veggy packets b/c Kaitlin is a vegetarian, yes mom. I ate an entire meal of veg) Actually the entire meal wasn't veg. We had banana boats for desert. We went with those because Krista, the camping virgin, had never had one.

Sunday we walked about half of trail 9 to trail 7 and finished up with trail 4. Total I think it was about 2 miles of rugged trail, another 1.5 of moderate and maybe 2 more on the park roads. Then we headed back to Indy so we could pretend we did homework this weekend!

Two weeks of class left followed by a week of finals. By my understanding I've only got 1 organized final. German is an oral exam with the professor during the week of finals, Anthro has a final paper instead of a final (wish me luck! I think I've forgotten how to write papers), EC doesn't have a final b/c it's an honors class, stupid class is only 1 credit hour so it can't have a final and that leave only plant development for a final exam! That's a first.

Hope you enjoyed my novel!

I remember being at a meeting at Brown County and you and your dad came along. I asked you what you saw on your hike and you said "A bulldozer!"
