Weekly Rundown
Monday-
Shortridge Science Fair. Good experience, no moldy bread. None were great. There were some good ideas but they hadn't seemed to fully grasp the idea of an experiment. And they had NO CLUE what replication was.
Followed up my judging experience with a panel on green jobs. A lot of economics and a lot of singing to the choir. Side note- My student-organized panel discussion last fall was WAY better.
Tuesday-
Not much. Business as usual.
Wednesday-
Lecture of the 4th dimension. I spent the 1.5 hours making fun of his bad physics jokes.
Thursday-
Had dinner with a bunch of other students and some of Butler's Board of Trustee's members. Those people sure can talk circles. I at least got to tell Bo Fo (Bobby Fong, BU President) that he was wrong. The Earth Charter Campus Farm is not simply the "new campus farm from the Center for Urban Ecology" it's a student led thing. Gosh, get it right man!
Friday-
Shoveled compost
Saturday-
Shoveled shit AND THEN!!
GOT INTO GRAD SCHOOL!! WOOP! WOOP!
